These new features give greater capabilities to existing customers, allowing them to streamline their webinar delivery and derive further value from their InstantPresenter service. Among the new features are expanded Question & Answer capabilities, a more in depth Polling feature and easier to create Registration Forms and Surveys.
The new “Question & Answer” feature allows webinar producers to collect questions from the audience and easily moderate, filter and share the questions. Online meeting attendees have a simple to use “Ask a Question” text box, where they enter their question for the presenters. Moderators then see all incoming questions, and can quickly assign and mark questions for answering by the presenters. Finally, when a question is ready to be answered, moderators are able to display the question text prominently for the audience to see, and presenters to address. This new feature is different from the existing Text Chat capabilities which allow a free form chat, by providing an easy to use mechanism for structured Q&A sessions.
Existing polling capabilities have been enhanced, by allowing webinar producers to see exactly how each attendee voted. Polls are questions that are given during the webinar to gauge the audience’s response. Now, with the enhanced polling, webinar producers can not only see a vote count and percentage, but have access to reports that show how each attendee specifically voted on each question. These reports are available in the Account Manager Tool, and can easily be exported to Excel or other spreadsheets in the ubiquitous CSV format. This new feature will allow the development of quick and easy online quizzes, where presenters can monitor individual answers.
Finally, webinar production has now been greatly simplified by allowing producers to build registration forms and surveys based on past meetings. Instead of having to create each meeting registration from scratch, online meeting producers can now select prior registration forms from past meetings and copy the registration form settings. The same method can be used to duplicate prior surveys. This new feature will allow webinar producers to easily create meetings based on past meeting settings, resulting in substantial time savings.
